To ask the Minister for Infrastructure whether he plans to conduct a community consultation exercise in relation to legislation to regulate the flying of flags on lampposts.

Answer:

Under the terms of the Stormont House Agreement, the remit of the Commission on Flags, Identity, Culture and Tradition includes issues around flags and emblems. The Stormont House Agreement states that there will be a full public consultation on any agreed legislation.
