To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs for her assesment on when her Department will make the last payment from the Basic Payment Scheme following the result of the referendum on European Union membership.

Answer:

It is not possible to be definitive when the last payment will be made from the Basic Payment Scheme. This will depend on precisely when the UK leaves the EU and the provisions within the withdrawal agreement.
