Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister , pursuant to AQW 3990/16-21, to outline the action (i) taken; and (ii) to be taken by their Department to ensure the retention of the Human Rights Act.

Answer:

As outlined in the response to AQW 3990/16-21, we are aware that the UK Government proposes to replace the Human Rights Act with a British Bill of Rights. We are currently waiting on details on the proposal and will then wish to discuss it with the Westminster Government.
