To ask the Minister of the Environment for an update on proposed legislation in relation to nuisance trees and hedges.

Answer:

I am keen to bring forward legislation to address this problem, starting with a policy consultation on the detailed operation of the legislation. However, the timing will be subject to consideration of the other competing priorities facing my Department.
