Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister (i) when they expect to publish a first draft of the Programme for Government 2020 – 2022; (ii) whether they intend to publish an Executive work programme alongside the PfG; and (iii) how they plan to fulfil the aims and objectives within the PfG given the short time left in the current mandate.

Answer:

We are committed to establishing a strategic level, outcomes based Programme for Government (PfG) that delivers real and positive change in people’s lives. Determining a way forward will be a key early priority for the Executive and we expect soon to publish details of the Executive’s agreed approach to bringing forward a new and ambitious Programme.
