Question:
To ask the Minister of Health to outline the cost of ensuring pay parity for Northern Ireland with England in respect of health and social care staff to also support National Living Wage uplifts for financial year 2021/2022.

Answer:

The Agenda for Change Refresh agreement covered the three year period from April 2018 to March 2021. The values of pay scales for 2021-22 are not yet known, therefore it is not possible at present to outline either the cost of maintaining parity into 2021/22 or of National Living Wage uplifts.
