Question:
To ask the Minister of Health, further to his statement to the Assembly on 14 January 2020, (i) which bands of Health and Social Care staff will receive pay parity with England; (ii) whether domestic and support services will receive an uplift; (iii) when staff will receive payment and; (iv) whether pay parity will be backdated to the beginning of financial year 2019/20.

Answer:

(i) Pay parity with England will apply to all Bands.

(ii) This will include those employed within the HSC in domestic and support services.

(iii) The award will be implemented as soon as is possible.

(iv)The award is effective from 1 April 2019.
