To ask the Minister of Finance for an update on his Department's plans for a social value act.

Answer:

Like me, I know that you are a strong supporter of a social value act. The Procurement Board is working with the social economy sector to explore options to widen social value through further development of procurement policy. This work will be important as we develop proposals for social value legislation which I intend to bring to Executive Colleagues as soon as possible.
