Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on the timeframe for completion of the A1 Junctions Phase 2 scheme.

Answer:

I am very aware how important the A1 Junctions Phase 2 road improvements are for the many people who have expressed their support for the scheme, especially those who have lost loved ones and I want to move to the next stage as quickly as possible after the completion of the statutory processes.

I am committed to working to find solutions that deliver better for our communities and improve lives across Northern Ireland. I will be assessing the pressures across my department reflecting on my priorities, the commitments in "New Decade: New Approach" and the budget made available for the period ahead.
