To ask the Minister of Education what changes have been made, since the beginning of the 2016/17 financial year, to arrangements for mileage allowance paid to parents or guardians of children attending special schools, who choose to transport their children to school themselves.

Answer:

The Education Authority has advised that since the beginning of the 2016/17 financial year, no changes have been made to the arrangements for payments for home to school transport assistance made by the Education Authority to parents of children attending special schools.
