Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs whether (i) Tully Biogas Plant is compliant with its operating licence; and (ii) he has plans to review the terms of the licence.

Answer:

Tully Biogas Plant was inspected on 23 January 2020 and was in compliance with its permit.

The Department plans to review the Tully Biogas Plant permit by August 2022 to take into account the conclusions on best available techniques for waste treatment facilities published by the European Commission in August 2018.
