Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy to detail the planned marketing budget allocation to (i) Tourism NI; and (ii) Tourism Ireland for 2020/21 in order to attract tourists following the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.

Answer:

We are working with both Tourism NI and Tourism Ireland to consider their financial requirements in light of the impact of Covid-19 on tourism both domestically and worldwide. Both organisations have commissioned research to determine people’s propensity to travel both within, and to Northern Ireland, and this will help to inform decisions.
