Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy (i) whether she has referred to specific scientific advice in deciding whether to advocate for a reduction in the social distancing rule from two metres to one metre; and (ii) will she publish this advice.

Answer:

I advocated the reduction of social distancing to one metre based on published World Health Organisation advice. The final decision on the reduction of social distancing to one metre, with mitigations, was made by the Executive after receiving advice from the Chief Medical Officer.
