Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on when the Inspector’s report will be published for the A1 Junctions Phase 2 Public Inquiry.

Answer:

At the end of the A1 Junctions Phase 2 Public Inquiry, the Inspector indicated that he wished to undertake a number of site meetings to ensure that he gives full consideration to all the issues raised. Due to the restrictions imposed by the Covid19 pandemic, these meetings were delayed.

The Department is now expecting the A1 Junctions Phase 2 Public Inquiry Inspector’s report by early October. I will carefully consider the findings once received.
