To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister for their assessment of the impact on Northern Ireland of any attempt by the UK Government to unilaterally rewrite the Protocol on Ireland/Northern Ireland.

Answer:

The UK Internal Market Act became law on 17 December 2020 “notwithstanding clauses” on implementation were removed prior to the enactment of the legislation.
