To ask the Minister of Finance whether he has any plans to change the Northern Ireland building regulations to incorporate mandatory standards for the provision of changing place toilets in the categories of the large public buildings and development, as set out in the current British Standard BS8300/2018.

Answer:

I am committed to incorporating Changing Places Toilets into local building regulations and have tasked my Department’s Building Standards Branch with bringing forward the necessary changes as quickly as possible.
