To ask the Minister for the Economy to detail the underspend for renewable energies at the end of financial year 2019/20.

Answer:

In the financial year 2019-20, expenditure relating to the Renewable Heat Incentive scheme totalled £6.7million. Available Annually Managed Expenditure (AME) budget to meet these costs was £28.9 million. AME that was not drawn down in this financial year therefore amounted to £22.2million.
