To ask the Minister of Health whether he intends to make regulations concerning use of party bicycles used by groups of cyclists, in light of the statement from the Executive Office stating that beer bikes will not be permitted to operate.

Answer:

In the period since this question was tabled the Executive has taken a series of carefully considered steps to bring us to the current position. As part of these the hospitality industry is permitted to open, including beer bikes. Business must follow guidelines and put mitigations in place to reduce the risk of transmission of Covid-19.
