To ask the Minister of Justice to detail those who continue to be reported missing by the PSNI, broken down by (i) age range; (ii) gender; and (iii) nationality.

Answer:

The recording of cases and the associated statistics relating to missing persons is a matter for the Chief Constable, who is accountable to the Northern Ireland Policing Board. I am committed to respecting the operational independence of the Chief Constable and the role of the Northern Ireland Policing Board.
