Question:
To ask the Minister of Health how many patients have now been identified as having been affected by clinical concerns in relation to the work of a consultant urologist in the Southern Health and Social Care Trust.

Answer:

As of 24 November 2020, a total of 2,327 patients have been confirmed as patients in the consultants care during the 18 month lookback exercise period (January 2019 – June 2020) and from this exercise 1,159 patients’ records have been initially reviewed, 271 patients or families have been contacted and 9 Serious Adverse Incidents have been confirmed.
