Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs what his Department is doing to fulfil the Executive's commitment to building a united and shared society through the Together: Building a United Community strategy.

Answer:

DAERA’s commitment to the Together: Building a United Community strategy is to promote and supports measures to address social isolation, service deficits and improve community cohesion in rural areas. This is achieved through the DAERA funding of almost £900,000 per annum for the Local Rural Community Support Service Programme and the Rural Infrastructure Support Programme. DAERA is also represented on the Good Relations Programme Board.
