To ask the Minister for the Economy for an update on the roll-out of smart meters to domestic premises.

Answer:

The roll-out of smart metering is being considered through the development of the new Energy Strategy for Northern Ireland. The Energy Strategy Options Consultation is due to be published in March 2021.
