Question:
To ask the Minister of Health when COVID-19 testing will be introduced for staff and care workers in sheltered support on the same basis as in care homes.

Answer:

Following a multi-agency review, the Department has extended routine COVID-19 testing for asymptomatic staff working in the supported living sector across Northern Ireland. This COVID-19 testing programme is available to asymptomatic staff across all four supported living thematic groups (older people; disability and mental health; younger people and homelessness), and will include jointly and non-jointly commissioned schemes.
