Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister, in relation to the Commissioners for Ministerial Standards as set down in New Decade, New Approach, Annex A, 1.6, for an update on the (i) recruitment process; (ii) recruitment criteria; and (iii) date when recruitment will commence for the three Commissioners.

Answer:

The Executive has determined that this will be known as the Panel for Ministerial Standards. Discussions are taking place with the Assembly Commissioner of Standards concerning her proposed role. Preparations, including the draft recruitment criteria are at an advanced stage, for the initiation of a public appointments competition to recruit other members.
