To ask the Minister for Communities whether there are plans to review the effectiveness of Community Planning within Local Government; and whether she will consider updating their process to require a duty to cooperate.

Answer:

My Department is considering carrying out a review of the local government reform legislation, which will include a review of the effectiveness of Community Planning.

Any decisions on subsequent changes to the legislation, including a duty to cooperate, would be considered once any review has been completed.
