Question:
To ask the Minister of Health whether there is any exception to COVID-19 regulations for private companies to arrange mass gatherings indoors, where a large group of people are asked to attend at the same time and then grouped into 15 per separate room; and whether such arrangements are in-keeping with COVID-19 regulations.

Answer:
There is no maximum cap on indoor gatherings, excluding those in private home. The maximum number that can attend is to be decided on a risk assessed basis, ensuring all reasonable measures are put in place to mitigate the risk of transmission of Covid-19. A risk assessment is required for all indoor gatherings of over 15 people.
