To ask the Minister of Education to detail the COVID-19 tariff and criteria CCEA will be using for students sitting (i) GCSE; (ii) AS level; and (iii) A2 examinations in 2021.

Answer:

Following my announcement on 6 January 2021 that CCEA’s GCSE, AS and A level examinations are to be cancelled this year, work on a proposed COVID-19 tariff has ceased as it was to be applied to exam outcomes and is therefore no longer relevant.
