Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, pursuant to AQW 445/17-22, for an update on residents' parking schemes.

Answer:

The first residents’ parking scheme in Rugby Road and College Park Avenue in Belfast came into operation during April 2018. A review of the scheme has been completed and I will be in receipt of the report on this in the coming weeks.

I will want to make sure that any lessons learnt from this residents’ parking scheme, and indeed the other areas that had been considered but did not make it to implementation, inform the policy for such schemes going forward. I can confirm that the report will be made publically available when I have had opportunity to consider the findings.
