Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy for an expected timescale for successful applicants to receive payments under the Limited Company Directors Support Scheme.

Answer:

The Limited Company Director Support Scheme is being delivered by Invest Northern Ireland, on behalf of the Department for the Economy, who are committed to assessing and verifying all applications, and processing payments, to eligible applicants as quickly as possible.

However, the length of time it takes to process applications and determine eligibility to the grant payment depends on the quality of the supporting evidence that has been submitted with each application. It is essential that each application is reviewed and the submitted evidence verified whilst being mindful of the need to protect public funds.
