To ask the Minister of Finance what engagement has she had with HM Treasury regarding the need to continue job support mechanisms after April 2021.

Answer:

I have consistently pressed Treasury to ensure that support is made available to all those that need it, for as long as they need it during the course of the pandemic. My officials have also been in regular contact with their Treasury counterparts on the impact of COVID-19, and the need for ongoing support for jobs and businesses into the next financial year.
