To ask the Minister of Education whether he has instructed the Education Authority not to fund planned growth in grant maintained integrated schools; or whether the Education Authority is acting under separate direction.

Answer:

I have not instructed the Education Authority (EA) not to fund planned growth in grant maintained integrated schools.

The EA, as funding authority for all grant aided schools, distributes funding to schools in accordance with the Common Funding Scheme.
