Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs what support and advice his Department has provided ports to ensure the safety of staff conducting important work on site.

Answer:

Following the temporary cessation of some portal inspection activities DAERA updated the ports on the security situation but did not provide them with advice.

DAERA is responsible for the safety of its own staff and has worked closely with PSNI and other operational partners to assess security risks and implement plans to enhance staff security and mitigate any potential risk.
