To ask the Minister for Communities, further to the statement from the Chief Medical Officer that lockdown restrictions could last into next year, to detail the potential impacts on the remit of her Department of (i) a full lockdown; or (ii) more minimal restrictions over this period.

Answer:

Full lockdown or further limited restrictions will continue to have impacts across services within the remit of my Department, as well as upon the Sectors supported by my Department. The extent of the impact will depend on the restrictions and how long they last. These are being continually monitored and responded to as necessary.
