Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister (i) on what date the junior Ministers will finish their work on the report of the Commission on Flags, Identity, Culture and Tradition; and (iI) whether the report will be published at that time.

Answer:

Junior Ministers met with the joint chairs of the Commission on Flags, Identity, Culture and Tradition (FICT) on 20 October 2020 to discuss the report, and met with officials on 19 January 2021 to consider next steps.

A working group is being set up, involving Junior Ministers, advisers and officials, to map out a way forward for Executive consideration in relation to the report, including decisions around its publication.
