To ask the Minister of Health to detail the linkage of close contacts that convert to cases in contact tracing for new coronavirus variants.

Answer:

The Delta variant in Northern Ireland accounts for over 95% of all cases and is the dominant variant. There is no evidence that other significant variants are established in Northern Ireland at present.
