To ask the Minister of Health (i) whether the £500 special recognition payment will be available for all Health and Social Care Trust staff, or just frontline medical staff; and (ii) to detail the rationale for this decision.

An FAQ on the special recognition payment, which includes eligibility criteria, has been published on my Department’s website at the following link;

The payment is available to all HSC staff, not just those on the frontline.
