To ask the Minister for Infrastructure what plans she has for further industry engagement in relation to the second Bus Operator Financial Assistance Scheme.

Answer:

My officials and I have been engaging with key stakeholders in the bus and coach industry throughout the design and development of both Bus Operator Financial Assistance Schemes. On 4 March 2021, my officials met with a wide range of stakeholders to discuss the operational outworkings of the second Bus Operator Financial Assistance Scheme, with a particular focus on improving guidance and communication for applicants.
