To ask the Minister of Finance for an update on the recognition of Irish language versions of official documents such as marriage, birth and death certificates.

Answer:

Officials are currently working on options to enable official documents such as marriage, birth and death certificates to be available in the Irish language. You will appreciate that there have been delays in this work as resources have been concentrated on the Covid-19 pandemic.
