To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail, as of 1 March 2021, how many interim payments have been made by the Historical Institutional Abuse Redress Board.
Answer:
As at 1 March 2021, Historical Institutional Abuse (HIA) Redress Board panels have made 72 Section 14 Initial Payment Orders pending full determination by a panel. The current status of the applications is set out in the table below.
