Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail any consideration they have given to the adoption of COVID-19 vaccine passports to facilitate tourism and hospitality businesses.

Answer:

Officials across departments, are engaging with other jurisdictions on a number of Covid-related reviews including Covid Certification.

Vaccine certification is currently being facilitated by the Department of Health in relation to international travel. Officials are exploring the potential use of certification for other purposes, informed by the medical and scientific advice, to allow a discussion by the Executive

There are currently no proposals to use vaccine passports for specific sectors.
