To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail NI Waters funding requirements for the first year of PC21; and whether her Department will be able to meet those requirements.

Answer:

The Utility Regulator’s Final Determination is intended to be published on the 13 May 2021, and this will outline the level of funding NI Water requires for the first year of PC21. I will be best placed to confirm my Department’s ability to meet the funding requirement once we have an agreed final determination.
