Question:
To ask the Minister of Finance to detail the (i) number; and (ii) percentage of Civil Service staff who will be (a) offered; and (b) encouraged to work from home after the further easing of lockdown rules.

Answer:

Civil Service employees that are able to carry out their job roles from home or remotely, in line with departmental requirements, will have the opportunity to agree with their line management the best location for them to carry out their work. At this stage we don’t know what the numbers or percentages will be.

It is understood that there are some operational job roles where working remotely will not be appropriate.
