To ask the Minister for Communities what progress she has made with the Minister of Finance and HMRC on reducing or removing VAT from labour and equipment purchased to retrofit houses with energy efficient heating alternatives.

I have not held discussions with the Minister of Finance or HMRC about reducing or removing VAT from labour and equipment to retrofit houses.

VAT is an Excepted Matter that is the responsibility of Treasury.
