Question:
To ask the Minister of Health to outline his response to the Royal College of Midwives’ call for a new Maternity Strategy.

Answer:

I can confirm that the Department intends to commence a review of Maternity and Neonatal Services and following the review to develop an updated Maternity Strategy. Unfortunately the review had to be temporarily paused due to the challenges and disruption associated with COVID-19.
