Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, in relation to when Covid restrictions relax to permit people to meet indoors, whether she will change the rules for the Strangford Ferry to permit school children and other foot passengers to use the passenger shelter on each of the ferries.

Answer:

School children and other foot passengers are already allowed to use the passenger compartments on both ferries, but in line with guidance they are expected to social distance.

I can assure you that our approach will continue to be reviewed as the Covid-19 regulations and guidance are updated.
