Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities what action she is taking to build back capacity and confidence for the arts sector to ensure the complex range of skilled people who work in the arts, such as performers, event supply chain, venues, writers, directors, have the confidence to return to work in this sector post-pandemic.

Answer:

Among other things, the Culture, Arts & Heritage Recovery Taskforce which I established in May has been asked to consider is how the people doing this important work might best be supported while the restrictions continue and as they ease. The work of the Taskforce is an important step in the process of support and recovery and will build on the foundations of stability provided through the £38m investment made by the Executive last year.
