To ask the Minister for Communities (i) to detail the support provided by her to the University of the Third Age in each of the last five years; and (ii) for her assessment of the benefits of this organisation for older people.

Answer:

My Department has not provided any support to the University of the Third Age.

My Department leads on the Executive's Active Ageing Strategy which includes actions to encourage older people to participate in learning and cultural activities.
