Question:
To ask the Minister of Health for an update on ensuring that everyone diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease receives the exact same information upon diagnosis.

Answer:

The Health and Social Care Board has commissioned a regional team to support patients with Huntington's Disease. Recruitment to this team is being progressed. The team will work with relevant staff in all Trusts and the Huntingdon’s Disease Association of Northern Ireland to ensure that patients receive appropriate information at key stages, including diagnosis.
