Question:
To ask the Minister of Finance how much money has been received from the Soft Drinks Industry Levy since its introduction.

Answer:

The Executive does not receive any funding from the Soft Drinks Industry Levy directly. Any money that is generated through the levy is paid to HMRC.

The Executive will receive a Barnett allocation of any additional expenditure in England, financed from the new levy. However as Spending Review outcomes are set at departmental level and not linked to individual programmes or levy income it is not possible to determine the level of consequentials which directly relate to that additional spend.
