Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to provide a copy of her Department’s policy that gives the Education Authority permission to allow land to be used for bonfire sites.

Answer:

My Department does not have a specific policy in relation to bonfires.

In cases where bonfires are constructed on land in the Education Authority’s ownership, the Authority continues to work with Community Officers in all Council areas and with the Neighbourhood Policing Teams to achieve the best outcome for the local community.
